Gamer Meme
วันอาทิตย์, สิงหาคม 31st, 2008
I was tagged by Aiza and though I usually only enjoy memes when I’m the one doing the tagging, I figured that I’d play along in the interest of Video Game Channel camaraderie.
Feel free to play along in the comments section.
1. Name and Job/s (if you want to share it) - Amy the Mom/Freelance Write
2. You’re currently playing? - I’ve started playing Assassin’s Creed again [not sure why] and occasionally go back to Kingdom Hearts; one of these days I’m gonna beat those stupid games.
3. Favorite game genre/s - Simulation, RPG, action/adventure
4. Favorite game/s of all time - Lunar: Best RPG of all time.
5. Favorite game character/s - Altaïr’s pretty sexy.
6. Earliest and fondest memory of gaming? - Playing Oregon Trail at school and Lion King on my Sega.
7. Most hated gaming moment/s? - The ending of Indigo Prophecy is definitely high on the list.
8. Gaming gadgets/consoles you own/owned - PSOne, PS3, PC, a sweet deck of Uno cards
9. If you had a “gamer’s shirt” what would the color and design be? (or if you have a favorite gamer shirt, what does it look like?) - This one’s fun.
10. Gaming stuff on your wish list? - Alienware laptop, Borderlands game, Sims 3…my list is pretty tame.

Infinite Line is one of the four games to be developed by Platinum Games. This one will be heading towards the Nintendo DS. Little is known about this game, but by some of the screenshots it seems that it will have you upgrading your ship a lot. Weirdly enough, it doesn’t appear very “artistic” like the team’s past games. I think it sorta looks generic, but it’s hard to tell with only three screenshots.
It’s a good thing that Nintendo has some deep pockets because they’ve been forced to dig in and withdraw $21 million in patent infringement fines. The small East Texas gaming company, Anascape Ltd, filed a lawsuit against Nintendo of America back in 2006 claiming that Nintendo had infringed on their motion sensing patent. The federal jury recently ruled in their favor.
